The Dental Students’ Research Society organized an intensive training workshop titled “Fundamentals of Scientific Research”, featuring eight lectures held over two days — Sunday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 30, 2025 — with the participation of more than 200 students from various faculties.
The workshop was enriched by the valuable contributions of distinguished professors, including Prof. Susan Hattar, Prof. Ahmad El-Maaytah, Dr. Aseel Sharaireh, Dr. Mo’tasem Abu Awwad, and Prof. Yazan Hassouneh from the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Mohammad Al-Saleh from the Faculty of Nursing, and Dr. Rawan Al-Hersh from the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences.
The lectures covered essential aspects of research methodology in a simplified and inspiring manner, allowing students to deepen their understanding of scientific research principles. The event was marked by its interdisciplinary attendance, welcoming participants from the Faculties of Medicine, Nursing, Rehabilitation Sciences, and Psychology, as well as students from the Hashemite University, Yarmouk University, and Al-Balqa Applied University.
This workshop served as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and constructive interaction, representing an important step toward empowering students to conduct and publish their own research projects in the future
