he Jordanian Clubs Championship, held at the Olympic Pool in Al-Hussein Youth City from July 8 to August 11, 2025, featured 300 swimmers from across the Kingdom, representing Al-Hussein Youth City Club, the Orthodox Club, Prince Mohammed Youth City Club – Zarqa, and Al-Hassan Youth City Club – Irbid.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Naif Abu Rumman, Director of Al-Hassan Youth City, with the medal ceremonies led by Mr. Bashar Al-Shaer, President of the Jordan Swimming Federation, Mr. Sharif Lotfi, Secretary General of the Federation, and Mr. Karim Annab, Chairman of the Technical Committee.
Yasmine Al-Bedour, a Dentistry student at the University of Jordan, achieved remarkable results in the championship:
• 50m Freestyle – Gold (28.90)
• 4×100m Medley Relay (Women) – Silver
• 4×100m Freestyle Relay (Mixed) – Gold
• 4×100m Freestyle Relay (Women) – Gold 🥇 (won today)
Yasmine will also be competing in the 100m Freestyle and 100m Backstroke in the coming days.
Yasmine began swimming at a very young age and has dedicated much of her life to the sport. She joined the Orthodox Club, which led to her selection for the Jordanian National Team in the sixth grade. Since then, she has achieved numerous national titles, broken Jordanian records, and represented the Kingdom in prestigious international competitions, including the World Junior Swimming Championships in Budapest, the Asian Indoor Games in Ashgabat – Turkmenistan, championships in Bangalore – India, and the Arab Games in Egypt, Morocco, and Dubai, where she earned multiple medals. Her achievements in this championship reflect her continued excellence and dedication to swimming.
