The Dental Enquiry-Based Learning (DEBL) Club, established by Dr. Marwa Alnsour, an assistant professor at the University of Jordan, serves 4th and 5th-year clinical students in the Faculty of Dentistry. This club is designed to strengthen students' clinical decision-making skills through discussions of real-life cases supported by evidence-based research. The DEBL Club promotes active learning and collaboration, with guidance and insights from faculty members and residents across various specialties, including Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Medicine. To date, the club has conducted ten sessions covering a broad range of essential topics, including caries diagnosis and management, endodontic failures, complications in tooth extraction, managing medically compromised patients, emergency handling of dental trauma, post-trauma complication management, endodontic diagnosis and vital pulp therapy, diagnosis of oral lesions, management of dentofacial infections, and approaches to tooth discoloration. Through our partnership as the School of Dentistry with Zain, these sessions are held at Zinc in Hussein Business Park on Saturdays each week. These meetings have equipped students with practical insights and skills, enhancing their confidence in managing complex cases. Sessions will resume after the midterm exams.
