Background to the program and subject area:
The MSc program in clinical endodontics is a three year full time program of study, clinical training and research.
Ø Vision statements of the program:
This program enables students to understand the principles of endodontics so that they are at the forefront of knowledge in this specialist field. It also aims to equip students with the key skills required for successful study at master's level, particularly in relation to literature searching, academic writing and critical appraisal of new evidence and products and determine their suitability for use in clinical settings
Ø Mission statements of the program:
Postgraduate (PG) students will participate in seminars, research training courses, meetings, coursework tutorials, clinical sessions and other relevant courses as required by their supervisors.
Ø Program Aims:
- To familiarize students with the basic and advanced endodontic science.
- To expand the students' knowledge and clinical skills in order to be able to deal with advanced and complex cases referred to them by their other speciality colleagues and general dentists
