For theoretical courses, there are written exams to assess the knowledge gained. Students are also assessed on the thoroughness of their preparation for seminars on various topics in paediatric dentistry as well as on their presentation and defence of these seminars throughout the course.
In clinical courses students are assessed on their clinical work throughout the year and there is a clinical exam at the end of the course which can be either the management of a clinical case or case presentation and defence of the full treatment that was offered for a clinical case.
