The School of Dentistry at the University of Jordan proudly announces that Dr. Sandra Al-Tarawneh, a faculty member at the School of Dentistry, has been awarded the American Academy of Osseointegration’s William R. Laney Award for 2026, one of the most prestigious international awards in implant dentistry.
Named after William R. Laney, D.M.D., M.S., the first president of the Academy and former editor of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (IJOMI), this award is presented annually to honor the best scientific article published in the Academy’s official journal.
This achievement reflects the high academic and research standards of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Jordan and its strong regional and international standing.
