Mission
	The department of Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics and Preventive Dentistry looks to become a leader, nationally and regionally, in the teaching of sciences of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.

Vision
	The department is committed to provide the necessary infrastructures for teaching and clinical training in the sciences of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, in order to provide the country with highly qualified specialists. In addition, the department encourages scientific and clinical research in related disciplines.

Objectives
	Provide students with fundamental knowledge in sciences of oral & maxillofaical surgery, oral medicine, and periodontology through lectures and seminars. Provide students with clinical training on the bachelor level in all these sciences. Provide students with theoretical knowledge and clinical training on the postgraduate level in order to obtain high qualifications in these sciences. Encourage the scientific and clinical research for students and staff. provide treatment for children suffering from different oral diseases.
