Course Description :
This course will educate the postgraduate into the aspects of periodontal disease related to pediatric dentistry and their treatment.  Topics covered will include gingival hyperplasia and surgical techniques of management and severe periodontal disease and its management.  The relevance of gingival status and levels to aesthetic and restorative decisions in the young adolescent patient are discussed.
