Dr. Hanin Hammoudeh winning the John. J. Sharry competition award 3rd place at the Annual ACP meeting in New Orleans

​Congrats to Dr. Hanin Hammoudeh from the Restorative Department and her research team for winning the John. J. Sharry competition award 3rd place at the Annual ACP meeting in New Orleans in Oct, 2025 with for their research project title: “ Acceptabil Deviation, and Efficiency of Automated Artificial Intelligence-Based Implant Planning Programs: A Comparison with Human Intelligence”. 


John J. Sharry Prosthodontic Research Competition is a prestigious annual research award organized by the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and its Educational Foundation (ACPEF). The purpose is to stimulate and acknowledge original research in prosthodontics (the dental specialty concerned with restoring and replacing teeth).

The John J. Sharry Prosthodontic Research Competition is primarily a U.S.-based national competition, however, it attracts international participation, with many researchers from around the world contributing through research collaborations or attendance at the ACP Annual Meeting.
